Fulltime mediator/arbitrator Brian Ghiglia has resolved hundreds of cases since the early 1990s, including tort claims, professional negligence, business/commercial and real estate disputes. His clients say that as a mediator, he does a "very effective job of bringing the parties together," is "diligent, efficient and productive" and treats the parties "with respect and candor." Mr. Ghiglia understands the human element of conflict resolution and believes that every case presents its own dynamics that must be explored and resolved.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE

Mr. Ghiglia handled general civil litigation for the first 10 years of his legal career, including business, real estate, bankruptcy and family law matters. During the past 20 years, he litigated personal injury, insurance and related cases before becoming a fulltime mediator. Mr. Ghiglia also has business experience as the owner of a mortgage company and Protect A Child Pool Fence Company, California's first pool safety fence company, which he grew and sold.

Mr. Ghiglia has received extensive mediation training through Pepperdine's Straus Institute, the California Court of Appeals, and the Los Angeles Superior Court.
