CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
Daniel Ben-Zvi began practicing law in 1981 and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants. After four years at the firm of Ribikoff & Kotkin, Mr. Ben-Zvi headed the business litigation department at their Connecticut branch office. He later opened his own multi-state litigation practice based in Los Angeles and was Of Counsel to the Washington law firm of Schmeltzer, Aptaker & Shepard.
Mr. Ben-Zvi is co-author of the book, “Inside the Minds – Alternative Dispute Resolution” [Aspatore Press, Boston 2004]. He writes articles and frequently lectures on dispute resolution to mediators, attorneys, law schools and other groups. Mr. Ben-Zvi also writes – not just mediates – creatively; he was a writer on the television show “L.A. Law.” A repeat speaker for the Southern California Mediation Association [SCMA], Mr. Ben-Zvi led a panel at its 2005 annual conference on the “Role of Attorneys in Mediation” with the Presidents of two of California’s largest trial lawyers. At the SCMA’s 2004 annual conference, he led another memorable panel on “Entertainment Mediation.”
