CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
Mr. Meiners is Of Counsel to the firm of Parker, Milliken, Clark, O’Hara & Samuelian, where he is a senior member of the Labor and Employment Department. Mr. Meiners continually has practiced with the firm since 1965 and has served as a Partner, Shareholder, or Of Counsel for more than 30 years. During that time, his practice has been almost exclusively devoted to the practice of labor and employment law.
A significant amount of Mr. Meiners’ labor practice includes representing clients in the administration of collective bargaining agreements, labor arbitrations, and litigating labor related matters. In addition, he has handled cases with respect to the duty of fair representation, including the argument before the United States Supreme Court in Clayton v. UAW, 451 U.S. 679 (1981). Mr. Meiners has obtained verdicts in state and federal jury trials wherein his clients were accused of age discrimination, and wrongfully terminating employees in violation of public policy.
