Thomas J. Feeley has been a specialist in tort liability for more than 40 years. He has particular expertise in police misconduct litigation defense as well as extensive experience in major municipal law, personal injury, civil rights, employment and contract disputes. He is frequently selected as a mediator by both plaintiff and defense counsel because of his reputation for knowledge, integrity and dedication to obtaining a resolution that is fair and equitable to all involved parties.

Following service as a Principal Deputy City Attorney in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Civil Liability Division, Mr. Feeley became a partner in a major municipal law firm, where he instituted and directed the litigation department, supervising a staff of lawyers in the defense of more than 20 municipalities in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties. 

Mr. Feeley has personally tried hundreds of civil jury cases in the State and Federal courts. He has been appointed as an arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court and as a mediator on the United States District Court for the Central District of California’s Settlement Officer Panel.
