CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
Judge Sarokin’s 17 years on the federal bench were preceded by 25 years as a litigator representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all types of complex litigation, resulting in experience in almost all fields of the law. Judge Sarokin has authored more than 2,000 written opinions, settled approximately 3,000 cases and presided over more than 1,000. During his federal tenure, he was involved in numerous class action suits, every conceivable federal claim coming before the courts, and a panoply of state issues arising under diversity jurisdiction.
While serving as a judge, he was a favorite among lawyers for his knowledge, patience, courtesy, quickness and sense of humor, and his courtroom was coveted as the most pleasant place in which to try a case.
