CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
Judge Berg served on the Superior Court for 30 years, where he conducted numerous settlement conferences and resolved law & motion and discovery matters. He was assigned to Complex Civil trials for many years and spent eight years as a Fast Track judge.
During his assignment to the Second District Court of Appeal, he wrote several decisions, including People v. Masters 134 CA3d 509, cited in Witkin, California Evidence.
Judge Berg’s vast judicial experience and advanced mediation training, coupled with his dedication and perseverance, often result in settlements which otherwise might not have been possible.
Judge Berg has authored articles in the settlement field and has lectured law firms and bar groups on the subject of settlement confidentiality.
