CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
After completing 34 years of judicial service, Judge Hubbell retired from the Los Angeles Superior Court, where he had been assigned to Fast Track cases in the Central District since 1992. Judge Hubbell has heard numerous high-profile cases, including the toxic exposure cases entitled the Lockheed Litigation Cases; Oakland Raiders v. National Football League; Credit Lyonnaise v. M.G.M., Kerkorian et. al; The Walt Disney Company v. Fulwider; Virgin Vision (Sex, Lies, Videotape) v. Samuel Goldwin; Lugo v. King World, ABC TV, 20/20 Productions; Lance Camper v. Republic Insurance Co.; Besson v. Interinsurance Exchange; Estate of Hyman Singer; Estate of Bouck; Guardianship of Tiffany Darwish; Guardianship of Krokidas; Estate of Beldon Kattleman; Flately v. Mauro; Landgate v. Coastal Commission; Alarm v. City, County of Los Angeles; Veltman v. County of Los Angeles; Moulin v. Darryl Gates; People v. Gerson (Art Theft); Anheuser-Busch v. Bear Valley.
Judge Hubbell served as Supervising Judge of the Probate Departments in 1988. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Hubbell engaged in the private practice of law in Beverly Hills and Century City with Fitzpatrick, Hughes and Hubbell from 1959-1970.

Recipient, Outstanding and Dedicated Service Award, Los Angeles County Superior Court, 2003.
Chairman, Superior Court Probate Committee; drafted the probate policy memorandum providing for the first time, strict accountability and reporting standards for guardians and conservators.
Longtime member of the Committee on Approved Jury Instructions.
