Upon stipulation of the parties the Temporary Judge has all of the powers of a sitting judge to hear and determine
all pretrial motions and discovery matters, preside over the trial and render judgment, and hear and determine all
post-trial motions. The Judge Pro tem must be a member of the State bar and must take an oath of office. Within
the cause in which he who is appointed, a judge pro tem may punish for contempt. |
