CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
In addition to Ken's mediation and arbitration practice, he is Of Counsel to the Monroe Law Firm, Long Beach, California. Since 2007, he has also taught as an adjunct professor of law at Pepperdine University School of Law. Since 1984, Ken has handled many hundreds of cases as a litigator and neutral in both state and federal courts in Washington, New Hampshire, Texas, Florida and his home state of California.
Ken's breadth of experience is vast and specialty areas include, but are not limited to: employment; contracts and transactional work; government contract law; UCC article 2 issues in the manufacturing environment; distributorship issues; commercial real estate issues; patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret law; FDA and FAA administrative issues; environmental law; import/export law; entity formation issue; estate planning, and more recently, family law. He has a high rate of resolution with cases involving these types of matters.
In addition to his work with ARC, Mr. Reed is on a number of panels of mediators and/or arbitrators: California Appellate Court for the Second Appellate District; Los Angeles County Superior Court; FINRA Dispute Resolution; National Arbitration Forum Domain Name Disputes; and the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Member, ABA Section of Dispute Resolution; Co- Chair ADR Committee of the Business Law Section of the California Bar Association; Co-Chair Commercial Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution; Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Los Angeles; Immediate Past-President of the Southern California Mediation Association; Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Fellow and Co-Chair of the Southern California Chapter, taught "Fast Track to Fellowship" on international arbitration at Institute events in Jamaica and Las Vegas.
Frequent speaker and author on ADR subjects, including articles entitled "Mediating via Skype: An Idea Whose Time Has Come;" "Drafting an ADR Clause – Guidance for the Transactional Lawyer;" and "The Art of Mediation: Ten Rules for Effective Participation."
