A real estate and construction law specialist with four decades of experience representing major developers, owners, tenants, landlords, pension funds and lenders, Larry Teplin has taken more than 175 cases to jury verdict, court judgment or arbitration. Larry understands the parties' business goals and the need for creating cost-effective and creative settlement solutions. CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE

A former senior partner at Cox, Castle & Nicholson, Larry Teplin has been involved a wide range of cases during the past 40 years, including construction defect and delay claims, landlord-tenant disputes, fair market rental value disputes, fair market fee value disputes, easement disputes, fraud claims, broker's fee disputes, contract claims and claims under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

Larry has successfully handled numerous complex, multi-milliondollar cases, including commercial construction delay claims; a class action matter involving residential construction defects; and an arbitration involving fair rental value of premises. Larry also tried a case which resulted in the first jury verdict for stigma damages on a remediated site.

Larry is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a frequent lecturer and presenter on real estate and construction law issues.

Larry served for three years on active duty and four years on inactive duty as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged as a Captain.
