Mark Fleischer, Esq.
A seasoned transactional attorney and executive, Mark Fleischer has spent the past 25 years working in the entertainment industry, where he has held responsibility for operations, executive management, and P&L for corporations and law firms.

Mr. Fleischer is well-versed in entertainment law, including motion picture financing, distribution, talent deals, complex contingent compensation structures, rights-management, and other issues, both in Los Angeles and internationally. Mr. Fleischer’s transactional experience already has resulted in an extraordinarily high settlement rate for a wide range of business, contract and insurance coverage issues, including general personal injury disputes. Mr. Fleischer is a member of THE PANEL at ARC, a unique three-member team of neutrals dedicated to managing and resolving complex business and entertainment cases.

Mr. Fleischer is President of Fleischer Studios, Inc., where he is responsible for managing family-owned rights assets, including Betty Boop, the character created by his grandfather, animation pioneer Max Fleischer. He is also Head of the Entertainment Department at Gorry Meyer & Rudd L.L.P.

Until recently, Mr. Fleischer was President of Mainframe USA, a leading 3-D computer-generated -animation production company. Concurrently with that position, he served as Managing Partner of law firm Hogan & Hartson’s Century City office (formally known as Squadron, Ellenoff, Plesent & Sheinfeld). Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President-Entertainment Business Development for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Inc., where he also served as head of the entertainment legal department in the position of Senior Vice President-Deputy General Counsel. As a Partner in the law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, Mr. Fleischer spent many years representing numerous talent and institutional motion picture/television clients in the structuring and negotiation of their business activities.
