John O’Meara, Esq.
During his outstanding career as a litigator, John O’Meara has distinguished himself as an expert on construction defect actions. He has consistently used Alternative Dispute Resolution as the best avenue for resolving construction defect disputes, and has participated in over 500 mediations on behalf of construction companies, carriers and as a mediator.

He has regularly been retained by insurance companies in the United States and Europe to represent their interests at settlement conferences and mediations, as well as to provide coverage analysis on issues pertaining to construction defect law. He has defended developers, general contractors and every type of specialty subcontractor in actions stemming from simple single-family remodels to large municipal projects. Over the years, he has lectured to insurance carriers throughout the United States and Europe on the handling of construction defect claims, and he has made many presentations on effective risk management.

Mr. O‘Meara is known to have a special talent for negotiation and settlement, with a wealth of experience and considerable success. He is available at ARC as a neutral who has the experience and the subject-matter acumen to settle construction-related claims.
