A very well-known and highly-respected jurist, Judge Persón brings a wealth of experience to ARC after over 21 years of public service on the bench. He has an impeccable track record as a judge as well as a reputation for integrity.

Judge Persón was appointed to the Los Angeles Superior Court in 1992 and spent the last seven years as a civil Fast Track judge handling hundreds of complex cases, including class actions involving asbestos, construction defect, and wage and hour issues. Judge Persón also handled law and motion, civil trials and settlement conferences while assigned to the Pomona court from 1993-1995.

As a Pasadena Municipal Court Judge from 1985-1992, Judge Persón gained recognition for his involvement in the Lamb Funeral Home matter, a highly-publicized case with the longest preliminary proceedings in Pasadena history. Judge Persón also spent many years as a Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney in the Consumer & Environment Protection Division prosecuting unfair competition and false advertising cases, a position which exposed him to civil law and required frequent trips to the law and motion courts.
