Hon. Leonard S. Wolf, Ret.
Judge Wolf is many people’s favorite neutral, as evidenced by his active calendar. In addition to having an exceptional command of the law, Judge Wolf is also a strong proponent of time management and is an expert on the practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution itself. After 23 years on the Los Angeles County Superior Court bench, he accumulated a exhaustive knowledge of the law, especially in personal injury and insurance coverage issues. He was the Supervising Judge of the Superior Court’s Santa Monica branch in 1988, and during his 10 years of service at the Beverly Hills Municipal Court he served several terms as its Presiding Judge.

While he is known to be very personable, it is also known that “he is firm in his deportment.” His hearings are conducted in a relaxed style and “he is a star at listening to everyone.” He also has an exceptional reputation for getting parties to move toward more realistic expectations without intimidating them, and his track record with settlement is extraordinary.
