Hon. Eric E. Younger, Ret.
Judge Eric Younger has worked as a private judge in all phases of dispute resolution since 1995. He served on the bench for two decades, where he conducted several hundred jury trials, several thousand court trials, law and motion hearings, and settlement conferences. Judge Younger spent his last seven years as a Fast Track jurist in the Los Angeles Superior Court Central Civil Division. He served twice on the Superior Court Executive Committee and in various master calendar courts. As a Justice Pro Tem for the Second District Court of Appeal, he authored nine opinions, seven of which were published.

Judge Younger was an Advisor to the Firm of Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger from 1999-2002 and Of Counsel to Graham & James from 1995-1999. Earlier in his legal career, Judge Younger served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of California and practiced business law as an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

Judge Younger is the author of Younger on California Motions (2d ed. 2000, West Group) and has published articles in numerous local and national publications.
