Professor Emeritus A. Marco Turk, former director of the Negotiation, Conflict Resolution & Peacebuilding program at California State University Dominguez Hills, joined ARC in 2008. He is available to mediate and arbitrate disputes in all substantive and procedural areas. Professor Turk is also a well-versed former appellate lawyer (including Court of Appeal judicial attorney) who has been a member of the California Bar since 1961, and has held a California real estate broker's license since 1963. As a mediator, he uses a facilitative style and specializes in difficult cases where the parties are convinced that settlement is not possible.

Professor Turk is recognized domestically and internationally as an effective consultant, trainer, educator, and ADR practitioner/scholar providing innovative approaches designed to achieve successful peaceful transformation of conflict, and knowledgeable as a mediator of e-Discovery disputes. His combined 34 years in law practice and the entertainment industry (including hands-on experience as a talent agent and film/TV creator/developer/ producer) have been followed by over 20 years in full-time higher education, ADR and international peacebuilding activities. Professor Turk is a longstanding American Arbitration Association arbitrator, and community/ trial and appellate court mediator.
