Andy Reimer has over 30 years of experience as a production, acquisition and distribution executive in the motion picture and television industries, and has successfully conducted over 300 mediations. Mr. Reimer has worked for some of the most prominent entertainment companies in the field, participating in and successfully negotiating agreements for thousands of movies, television programs and other entertainment properties. Accordingly, Mr. Reimer has the ability to assess entertainment industry disputes with a familiarity uncommon amongst many mediators. As a neutral, he is patient, thorough and methodical and offers detailed analyses and explanations. He places a premium on making sure that all parties are heard and their perspectives are given full and fair consideration.

Mr. Reimer has held senior positions for large international media companies (HBO, Blockbuster/Viacom, Warner Bros., BET, Lionsgate Entertainment), midsize companies and smaller startups. His work involved general management, strategic planning, project/team supervision and numerous other arenas. In particular, he has extensive experience in deal structuring and negotiation and financial analyses in a creative environment.With decades-long experience resolving a wide variety of business and contractual disputes, Mr. Reimer has an extensive background working across numerous industries and disciplines. His conflict resolution background has encompassed a wide variety of challenging, and often complex, business disputes, with a particular focus on entertainment industry matters. He has also successfully mediated in many other arenas including Real Estate, Family, Employment, Personal Injury/Liability and general Contractual disputes.
Mr. Reimer offers a broad understanding of the entertainment legal landscape, including deal structures, business practices and financial and creative objectives that are the underpinning of the industry's agreements. He is a successful negotiator, encouraging compromise, conceiving middle ground solutions and ultimately, and successfully, resolving conflicts in virtually every facet of his varied career.
