Mr. Lippman has continuously litigated a vast variety of personal injury cases over the past 45 years, including more than 100 civil jury trials and hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. In 1979, Mr. Lippman began his alternative dispute resolution career when he became a Los Angeles Superior Court Arbitrator, a position he held for many years. Mr. Lippman continues to preside over private mediations and arbitrations and participates as a party arbitrator in medical malpractice cases. His extensive courtroom experience and broad understanding of the risks and complexities involved in civil litigation allows him to successfully resolve a wide variety of legal disputes.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE

Mr. Lippman began his legal career as a felony trial deputy with the Los Angeles County Public Defender's office (1969-1973). He served as lead trial attorney and head of litigation for Kairys, Lippman, Weisel and Kiper, PC from 1975-1999 and is currently a founding partner of Lippman and Weisel. Mr. Lippman has more than 20 years of experience handling private mediations and arbitrations as well as party arbitrations in medical malpractice cases.

In addition to pursuing compensation for his personal injury clients, Mr. Lippman has represented numerous individual defendants in various matters such as vehicle accidents, breach of contract, premises liability, assault and battery and animal attacks. During the course of his career, Mr. Lippman was regularly retained as "Cumis Counsel" by a major insurance company and defense firm. Mr. Lippman believes that his past representation of both plaintiffs and defendants has been of great assistance in developing a keen understanding of the issues involved in disputed legal matters.
